so hi... its been a hot minute huh?

this is a just small update on what i'm doing right now.

at the moment i have been a HUGE ART RUTT. i have been not at all been motivated to draw lately. due to coming home from work and just sorta SLACKING hard with everything (playing WAY TOO MUCH GAMES is a HUGE reason way i have been slacking, and just dead tired.)

i was gonna try to upload a halloween drawing but, at the very last minute, i wanted to redo the entire shading. i don't know why but i wanted to try something else

either way i'm hoping to either get this done soon, or at least get to a better point to come back later to, (i really wanna try to get a thanksgiving piece out that i have in mind)

i hope that the rest on this year i'll be a bit more active and have better time management with my freetime (GOOD lord Crossout has stolen SO MUCH of my time)

yeah unfortunately, ill have to sit this one out, i have delayed my work too long and i will be able to put something that i would be content with. honestly this was a good learning experience but man it feels like a bummer to not have anything polished to good quality

This is the scene i was trying to do but i had MULTIPLE issues of exporting my model to this file (for some damned reason, my armature/rig always get janked up. anytime i try to attempt to fix this, something new arises)j

so where have i been? well i have been very much a "dead inside feels" recently. my mind feels like in a muck and i cant seem to slide my ass out of. i have been thinking and maybe this "side project" gonna have to be a side thought for now. honestly dont know how to go around with it. ethier way, im gonna try to do more art that makes me feel happy to draw. (fanart, Speesh Marines, and dumb stuff) however what i have been doing more blender related studys and modeling

i plan to make a fully rigged model as a milestone in my blender journey. i have been having fun in general with modeling

i want to submit at the very least a render of this bad boy for the upcoming Robotday 2023 event

if time premits, i would like to do a very short animation with it instead. granted might not happen with my pace of work on this (due to some life stuff)

on my drawing side, i have been working on a fanart piece of tom pulps "castle Crashers"

one of my favorites games that this community has produced. i hope to put my best foot foward with this drawing

right now im still doing more finishing touches on the current art piece for pico day. but at the moment i had some some inspiration and wanted to at least try to get back into practicing Blender

honestly i hope i can get this one actually done (i still have neglected tube mech in my hard drive :C)

so i'm still working on my OC now, i am changing it to just a regular drawing instead of a easter drawing like i initially intended, (rather not waste time since i won't be able to capitalize on holiday)

instead, ill be changing the Background to her showcasing her wares, (only got one thing, i might add more)

Hey, so i have been HELLA distracted by just some things in my life, (AKA, spending WAY too much playing some games after a long workday, slacking in general, sitting on my bed having the "damn, am i doing anything in my life right at all?)

i have to try to combat this problematic cycle i have dug myself in.

thus i wanna try to join the upcoming pico day event by submitting a art piece to it. better than doing nothing and mopping around.

at the moment i wanted to try to get a Easter drawing down while also using this easter drawing as a opportunity to draw out one of my characters for the side project that i am still been sorta floating around with. unfortunately, due to my laziness and other things in my life, i'm probably gonna be late on posting on time for the easter holiday (its 10:30 Pm before Easter)

she's helps the main group of characters in my side project story in getting lost "Pre Reset relics/items" she's a rat/mouse human hybrid and basically the main group pays her in coin and in addition of "Cheese" her favorite cheese to barter with is pepper jack cheese

granted it's been a long time since i posted my last update, due to some life events and working on and finishing a commission. this one is almost done, shading and more edits are gonna be made to this art. still trying to push myself with doing more background stuff. however i learned having TOO MUCH detail can very much detract from the drawing.

after this art piece, i want to try to continue on the small side project. granted this side project has been much more harder to do since my current life stuff and at the moment, a bit of depression. (one of these days i gotta make a drawing describing what i feel)

my one goal for this year is to at least get some content of the side project out here.

Current WIP

Current WIP for my friends commission, onces i get the lineart down ill be starting base color and shading, then after this piece is finally complete, i need to finish up the character concept i have been working on. then after this one, i'll be free to start doing more stuff for the story i had been trying to get out there.

This will likely be a very small project on my end and will have to slowly build my way to it. then again that can always change depending how this sorta progress.

I hope you guys who see this will at least give it a chance when it slowely comes to life!

so right now im working on a commission that a good friend of mine commissioned for me to do,

its an odd tank that he wanted me to draw. apparently a VERY experimental tank/missile platform that could extend its missile weapon system. (Trilaterale Versuchsträger) im making a 3D basic primitive model to use as reference (plus an excuse for me to play around with blender more)

the other one is a character concept drawing for the side idea i have been pondering over

still working on background draft and the character story/lore

i hope you guys like this update or whatever, i hope to have these done soon (at least the metal knightess drawing)
