wip update on shading. so far reshading has progress a bit better
the power effect has been tweaked

Practice on metal cell shading. This is somthing I struggle with so I tried Practicing with pen and pencil

wip on metal knight warrior. i STILL find metal hard to shade
im not sure why if its because i cant get my head to understand reflections or im just not having something connect
either way, im using a mix of gradients and then blending to maybe help with metals. so far results are good and allows me to only have to worry about hard shine to be added

im still trying a different background method, something not ugly as sin but not also too noisy in the background that detracts from the main drawing

wip shading and color currently.
the metal cell shade came out pretty good for now compared to the first run through.
i might stick with this look for metal shading for future drawings.

my current wip for my redraw of an old character concept
(guitar was custom made in blender to help speed up the drawing process)
originally she was the metal knight but she has too much skin showing to really be considered a knight. she's more of a deity/anomaly creature. so i'm renaming her a the metal guardian, she guards the music plaza of old, slaughtering all who try to loot the plaza for musically artifacts. only those who can duel her in the great arts of metal music can they have permission to take a great relic from her land

Update on grimdark mel, i have gotten the base colors down now, i might change the colors again however if needed, i will need to reflect the lighting on the glowing cum pool and her CUM challiss

this is my 2nd wip on my grim dark project mel. so far i feel i'm gonna have to rely on shading to give her some creep factor. i wanted to get the lustful succubus while also something creepy. i might have to change the design honestly but i'm already ready to move to the next phase. maybe her love slaves next to her will help convey the message of her twisted side.
i also will make her cum challiss a radioactive glow type fluid to give that eldridge horror vibe while having horrid looking tentacles in the background with a moon lit sky
i might use blender to help with the BG later to help with drawing
